How Egoscue is Addressing the Coronavirus Threat

For more than 30 years, Egoscue has prided itself on our ability to help our clients eliminate pain and live life to the fullest. And now more than ever, we want our clients to know that we will continue to do that—and to be there for them, however needed—even as the Coronavirus known as COVID-19 raises anxiety across the globe and creates uncertainty in our communities and daily lives. That’s why we want to make sure that all of our clients, whether longtime friends or those new to The Method, understand how we are addressing the risk in our 30-plus Egoscue Clinics today.

We have always rigorously cleaned our facilities daily with industrial-strength cleaners, and we have added additional precautions to maintain a sanitary clinic environment for your in-person sessions. Most important, all equipment is cleaned and disinfected after each use. And as always, all staff continue to practice essential personal hygiene, including frequent hand-washing (especially between sessions) and not coming to work when they are not feeling well. Because Egoscue is a no-touch and observation-based therapy, we have always been appropriately “distanced” from clients during sessions so that we can evaluate posture and the execution of our E-Cises—it’s part of the Therapy’s design.

We realize that some clients may still feel uncomfortable coming into a Clinic or traveling, especially with the evolving “social distancing” protocol. But, please remember, Egoscue still has you covered. We have been offering Digital Therapy for more than 10 years now. And well before the coronavirus scare, an increasing number of our clients have been doing these video therapy sessions with their Therapists via Internet-based services like Skype, Facetime, and Zoom. It’s a well-established therapy process that offers the same results, with the same ePete software—from the convenience of your home.

For more information on scheduling Digital Therapy sessions, connect with your Therapist or check out our Digital Therapy page.

As always, we remain committed to helping you live pain-free in a safe environment.
